Path of the god

The Path of the Gods is a scenic hiking trail approximately 9 kilometers long, located along the Amalfi Coast.

The trail starts in Bomerano, a hamlet of Agerola, and ends in the upper part of Positano (Nocelle), with a total hiking time of about 7 hours. Once the excursion is over, you can return from Positano by public transportation, private shuttle bus, or alternatively by ferry to Amalfi.

The trail is not extremely difficult, but it still requires a reasonable level of fitness, as you will walk for around 10 km.

Recommended clothing, especially during the warmer months, includes light apparel such as a cotton T-shirt or tank top and shorts. However, if you are allergic to plants or grass, we suggest knee-length trousers or long pants.

We also recommend wearing proper trekking shoes. High shoes, platform soles, or wedge shoes are not suitable. To protect yourself from the sun, wearing a hat of any shape or size is highly recommended.

Finally, don’t forget to bring a backpack with everything you may need during the hike.

Along the route, you can stop at the famous “Pastore degli Dei” (Shepherd of the Gods), who will delight you in his farmhouse with authentic local products — an experience not to be missed!
